The DURA-BASE™ Composite Mat System can provide temporary access through environmentally sensitive areas for heavy equipment, transport vehicles and staging areas. The ideal solution for soft or shifting soils and inadequate sub-grades, DURA-BASE™ Composite Mat System distributes the weight of extreme loads over an extensive surface area with the least amount of physical impact. In addition, the nature of the nonporous mat surface enables thorough cleaning prior to installation thus ensuring no foreign contamination is introduced into the location.
Wetlands
Land Areas that a re saturated with water, either permanently or seasonally, form distinct ecosystems that hose a wide range of plant and animal life and make access to work sites particularly challenging. Constructing temporary roads in areas such as marshes, swamps and bogs pose no problem for DURA-BASE™ mats.
Environmentally Sensitive Areas
Agricultural areas that need special protection because of their landscape, wildlife, crops or historical value are heavily regulated and difficult to work in - but DURA-BASE™ is the lightest and most effective in providing safe, stable ground coverage while protecting the existing environment in these areas.
