Matrax Inc. is a solution-based design, engineering, manufacturing and distribution company specializing in a range of high-density polyethylene and polypropylene plastic mats and flooring systems. Matrax products have been utilized internationally within industries that include event and stadium flooring, pedestrian access, natural and artificial turf protection and construction.

PORTABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT COMPOSITE FLOORING SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR FAST AND EASY INSTALLATION.

The primary purpose of Matrax HDPE is to facilitate pedestrian and vehicular access in event locations such as stadiums, universities and national parks - to transform into temporary work sites with difficult access due to unstable or soft soil conditions.

Each mat measures 4’ x 4’ x 1.5” H (1.22m x 1.22m x 3.81cm) and weighs 47.5 lbs; Matrax can also support compressive loads up to 450 lbs per square inch (PSI) based on an intermittent load on a 1’x1’ area. This system is ideal for multiple applications; temporary platforms and pedestrian friendly surfaces can be constructed efficiently and cost effectively with minimal impact to sensitive ground conditions.

Limited manpower is required for installation (no additional machinery or equipment is needed) and two mats locked together can easily stack in the back of a standard 8’ pickup truck, making transportation of low quantities very affordable and simple.

Each mat is fabricated using 100% HDPE (high density polyethylene) with an anti slip plastic mold that is also UV resistant. In extreme weather conditions the mats do not contract or expand after their first cycle.
